WebMar 13, 2024 · As I mentioned earlier, Singapore’s reserves are held and managed in three distinct pots: the MAS, GIC, and Temasek. The government sets the overall investment objectives for the three entities and monitors the risk and return profile of the total reserves. WebGIC is a fairly conservative investor, with a globally diversified portfolio spread across various asset classes. Temasek is exposed to significantly higher risk than GIC and MAS but has also delivered higher returns over time as expected. In contrast, MAS will have more stable but lower returns over time.
