WebI brew a strong scotch ale every year, this year's OG was 1.115 and went into secondary at about 1.010. I leave it in secondary on oak for 5-6 months before bottling/kegging. I found bulk aging to be much better than bottle aging at the 6 month mark. A week or two might not be completely game changing, but a few months should really round it out.
